Save the date - GALA, our annual "med school prom," is scheduled for 2/4 at the Atheneum hotel in Greektown.

Take a break from the cadavers, pharm/patho and other nonsense, and come down to the Scott Hall Cafeteria on Nov. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. for one of the Wayne State University School of Medicine's premiere events, the Ethnic Fair! This is celebration of WSUSOM's diversity and provides students with a way of showcasing their cultures through food, performances and demonstrations!

Four reasons why you should come:
1) FREE FOOD! Come sample food from all over the world: African, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Japanese, French, Filipino, Mexican, Native American, soul food, Greek and many more!

2) Check out some of the awesome performances we have in store:
- Martial arts demonstration and lesson
- Tango demonstration and lesson
- Indian, African and Middle Eastern dances
- Hustle lessons
